She had also distributed 2 books to us the she had photocopied. We received two book entitled " Preparing and Using Visual Aids for English Language Teaching" and "Teaching English in the Primary Classroom". these two books seemed to be a very good guidance for me as future teachers. hopefully i these books will benefit me a lot. Then, Pn,Foziah, assigned us to read and discuss the subtopic in one of the book which is " Teaching English in Primary Classroom" in group. My group and I was assigned to discuss the subtopic "1.3- Children's Capacity for Indirect Learning". This subtopic was basically about how teacher can turn the children's indirect learning to the teacher's advantage in the language classroom. teacher can assigned task such as "guessing" will be a very good examples since the mind is engaged with the task and is not focussing on the language and the children can aquire the language indirectly.
after that, Pn.Foziah had divided us into 5 groups and we were assigned to do photo editing. Our group leader were assigned some works regarding photo editing by Pn. Foziah. While waiting for the leader to finish the work. we continued discussing on the previous task which is the subtopic.
the new task seemed to be new for me. i never did photo for formal purpose before. i only knew how to edit the photo using "paint" and never knew how to edit the phoo in other programme. This task will be an exploration for me since i will gain lots of new knowledge from the lesson.
Im looking forward for the next class and im very excited to learn this new knowledge. Hopefully it will benefit me a lot..
