Week 4

today's class was the fourth class in this sem. nothing much that we could do during the 3 hours period. it is because the internet connection was down and we could not do the tutorial assigned since we need the internet access. so, ma'am decided to group us in several groups of 6 and she assigned us to discuss about several topic in the book entitled"Teaching English in the Primary Classroom" by Susan Halliwell. We need to prepared power point presentations for each of the topic. as for me, the power point presentation will increase our confidence level since we need to present it in front of the class. furthermore, the presentation session will encourage and practice us to use the English language.

This practice will be a very good way in brushing up our proficiency in English. plus, the notes and point consist in the power point slides will be very useful for us when comes to the exams and tests. we just need to download all the points in the power points prepared by out groups and the other groups through the skydrive in Pn. Foziah's windows live. so, these were the early preparation by Pn Foziah for us in the future by assigning us to the the power point slides. Thanks a lot ma'am. it surely will benefit us all

throughout the discussion, our lecturer, Pn Foziah had monitor and facilitate us. she will come and ask the progression of each group. that's what a teacher should be. we were not only assigning the task to the students but also responsible in monitoring and facilitating the students' works and progress. that's one of the examples that showed by Pn. Foziah for us as future teachers. then, she told us that, we need to teach the students not only academically but also spiritually and emotionally. it is because, we a good students possess good academic, spirits and also emotions. they need to balanced all these factors in order to succeed in their life. thats how we, as future teachers "build" and "prepare" the "modal insan" for the our nation.
